Traveling.
Travel has become a recent hobby of mine and something I will continue to pursue for the rest of my life. I have learned more from traveling and experiencing other cultures than I have from any other form of learning.

The Revenge of Geography Review
Robert D Kaplan
Robert D. Kaplan’s In the Revenge of Geography brings together a compilation of theories, perceptions, and findings derived from the greatest minds in the geopolitical sector. Taking historical views and facts from critical events in history and using those events to paint a vivid picture for what the future may look like. From Eastern European climates, such as Russia to the geopolitical delusions coming from Nazi Germany. Kaplan dissects their climates, landscapes, and relativity to other battle tormented lands. Kaplan takes that history and applies it to current predicaments that are taking place in those regions and new regions with similar characteristics. Combining the history with the current crisis he developed an all-inclusive interpretation of the next series of world conflict. Kaplan puts into perspective a concept of geography that is often overlooked and highly undervalued. His insights reveal details that counties and governments overlook. For example, China is only able to feed about a quarter of its current land. Or due to the landscape in Afghanistan it is a passage way in to invading India. Kaplan’s objective in this book is not only to show his readers the importance of geography but to show that these truths remain timeless. Knowing the facts can help prevent future turmoil and show that geography plays a vital role in this.
